After graduating from the University of Bordeaux with a masters degree in Literature and from the University of Metz with an MBA, Jules Grandsire started as a trainee in the European Space Agency’s Communications Department. After being involved in several space missions of European astronauts he became, aged 30, the youngest ever Head of PR & Communications at the European Astronaut Centre. In 2015 he was part of the team nominated for the prestigious Grimme Online Prize.
